I love Simpsonville Day!
Show your Simpsonville Spirit and Shop Local, Shop Simpsonville!

“I love Simpsonville Day” is Tuesday, February 14th, and the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging everyone to get in on the fun.  Many of its Chamber members will be running Simpsonville specials, and of course, everyone will be wearing “I heart Simpsonville” t-shirts.

In 1983, Mayor Ralph Hendricks declared Valentine’s Day I love Simpsonville Day.  It was a way to thank residents for shopping locally. Last year, the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce revived the tradition. “We want people to shop locally in Simpsonville and this is a great reminder for the community to do just that,” commented Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kelly Wilkins.

The Chamber of Commerce encourages residents and visitors to stop by the Chamber office on the big day to take pictures in the “heart cut-outs” and to buy a new, limited edition “I heart Simpsonville” t-shirt for $7, or a traditional one for $5 to show their Simpsonville pride.

Simpsonville area businesses plan to support the day by running specials and/or wearing I love Simpsonville t-shirts.
