Main Street Chapter


This group promotes and protects the interests of businesses in the Main Street area. This group meets on the first Friday of every month at 9am.
 

In 2011, the Main Street Chapter accomplished the following goals:

1. Installation of Christmas lights on South Main Street

2. Installation of stop signs at Ice Cream Station

3. Installation of the pedestrian sign for local events

4. Downtown parking problems addressed

5. Group advertising flyers for tourism events

6. 300 people in downtown Simpsonville for Sippin' in Simpsonville event

7. Raised $2,000 for local charities through Sippin' in Simpsonville event

8. Networking and business to business relationship formed by those who attended monthly meetings
